Ph3Position Summary /h3 pThe function of the Associate Program Manager is to provide strong management support and analytical advises to the project management team of the New Build and Special Projects. The role is to give mission-driven new build project management association, supporting the Management in their work through issue identification, analysis and communications. In addition, the role includes management of separately assigned special projects. Consults with internal clients in various departments (shoreside and shipboard) and with external partners (shipyard, technical and design consultancies) to gather, analyze, and report data for recommended courses of action. /p pProjects assigned are typically top priority, high profile, and multi-departmental initiatives for the organization and thus require continuous communication and interaction with the site office management, onsite technical and design teams, shipyard, brand other internal and external partners. Manage all aspects of project planning, tracking and status reporting, and special project management as assigned and agreed with a project manager of respective vessel class. /p h3Program Management Essential Duties And Responsibilities /h3 ul liProject program management and support the development, tracking/monitoring and reporting of several small to medium size projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, on budget delivery of project outputs. /li liProject management of separately assigned special projects of vessel class. /li liFlawless delivery support and coordination; area readiness lead /li liResources management and workload support to the management team /li liActing as project management’s analytical advisor and associate. /li liYard related items coordination owner /li liSupporting the project management through risk identification, analysis and communication. /li liApplying an objective issue-analysis approach for project areas and subsystems tracking. /li liAdapting the work approach according to changing project priorities. /li liResponsibility of standardized, analytical and frequent reporting on newbuilding projects. /li liIdentification and proactive search of data sources, together with shipyard/ suppliers. /li liDeveloping tools to help shipyard/ suppliers in forward-looking planning. /li liTracking total remaining work and displaying weekly/ monthly progress required for timely completion. /li liTracking project progress against milestone plan, building simulations (projecting actual progress on the future). /li liIterative development of reporting format based on management feedback and focus areas /li liBest practice definition and proactive sharing to other newbuilding projects and throughout the corporation. /li liConsults with client to ascertain and define need or problem to obtain data required for solution. /li liAnalyzes data to determine solution such as implementation of alternate methods and procedures or changes in processing methods and practices. /li liDevelops processing methods and practices for communicating project status to extended teams and executive management. /li liSupports project teams in collection of quantitative/qualitative statistics, performs basic numerical analysis (financial, statistical). /li liPerforms other duties as required. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management. /li liAble to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with little to no guidance. /li /ul h3Special Projects /h3 ul liManagement of special projects for N/A Vessel Class /li liMain point of contact for the Miami office regarding all activities on special projects /li liManaging special projects in seamless collaboration with Shipyard and other partners /li liClose follow up of the special project construction and inspections with required interior and technical resources /li liMonitoring of the commissioning with required technical resources /li liReporting on special project status during delivery phase /li liEnsuring completion of projects and lessons learned for each of the special projects /li liDevelopment of tracking and monitoring tools based on TABLEAU software /li liBusiness intelligence coordination for and between the European NB offices /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor degree or above with a concentration in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a closely related discipline (Management Science, Industrial Engineering). Experience: at least 10-15 years of relevant work experience in business development, analytics, professional services, technology or finance. /li /ul h3Knowledge And Skills /h3 ul liSolid written and verbal communication skills in English a must. Clear and precise communication at all levels of the organization essential. /li liExcellent problem solving skills – strong analytical mindset and drive for solving complex challenges. /li liAbility to learn quickly and understand technical systems. /li liStrong collaboration and communication skills and ability to influence. /li liAbility to developing new analytical approaches independently, identify key issues, collect data, conduct data analytics and visualize data to create impact and support decision-making. /li liExcellent interpersonal skills, strength in communicating in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management. /li liExcellent administrative, organizational and presentation skills. /li liAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. /li liAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and to draw valid conclusions. /li liAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. /li liAbility to read, analyze and interpret contracts, financial reports, legal documents, and government regulations. /li liAbility to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, co-workers, customers, vendors, shoreside and shipboard employees. /li liSoftware: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project required. Familiarity with email, internet applications and AutoCAD system essential. /li liInternal Candidates: Knowledge of CAR process: budget, approval, reconciliation, and reporting, AMOS, Niku, Lotus Notes Database, SQM filing system, JDE, and Essbase. /li liAbility to work for the multiple Newbuild projects and to work permanently onsite in Saint Nazaire, France. /li liFluent English and French skills, other languages considered as an advantage. /li liTechnical studies considered as an advantage. /li /ul h3Physical Demands /h3 pThe physical demands described here are representative of those requirements employees must meet to perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.
