Cluster Director of Finance – Luxury Hospitality Group | Southern Europe
LHC International Southern Europe has been retained to conduct an exclusive and confidential search for an experienced and commercially driven Cluster Director of Finance to oversee the financial leadership of a portfolio of ultra-luxury hospitality assets across Southern Europe.

The role will oversee multiple high-profile properties across Italy and Spain, acting as a key strategic business partner to ownership, corporate leadership, and on-property executive teams.
The Opportunity:
As Cluster Director of Finance, you will lead the financial strategy, governance, and performance of a portfolio of luxury hospitality assets, ensuring operational excellence, strong commercial performance, and alignment with corporate objectives.
This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role, requiring a highly analytical finance professional with strong luxury hospitality exposure and the ability to operate across multiple markets and stakeholders.
You will play a critical role in driving profitability, supporting long-term growth, and ensuring robust financial controls across the portfolio.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
Strategic Financial Leadership
Lead the financial strategy and long-term planning across multiple luxury hospitality assets
Act as a strategic advisor to General Managers, ownership, and corporate leadership
Support business growth, profitability, and operational performance through financial insight and analysis
Financial Planning & Performance:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the cluster
Monitor financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective actions
Drive strong commercial and operational financial discipline across all properties
Financial Operations & Governance
Ensure robust financial controls, policies, and reporting standards are implemented across the portfolio
Oversee accounting operations, audits, payroll controls, purchasing approvals, and cash flow management
Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate standards, and internal controls
Reporting & Corporate Alignment
Act as the key liaison between on-property finance teams and corporate leadership
Ensure accurate, transparent, and timely financial reporting
Support ownership and executive teams with meaningful business analysis and strategic recommendations
Commercial & Asset Performance
Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to maximise profitability and asset value
Support pricing, business mix, and cost optimisation strategies
Drive financial efficiency while maintaining luxury service standards
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop finance teams across the portfolio
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support the development of future finance talent within the organisation
Systems & Process Improvement
Drive financial process optimisation and reporting efficiency initiatives
Support system enhancements and digitalisation projects across the finance function
What We Are Looking For
This role requires a highly credible finance leader with strong luxury hospitality exposure and the ability to manage complexity across multiple assets and stakeholders.
You will likely bring:
Significant experience in senior finance leadership roles within luxury hospitality
Previous multi-property or regional finance experience strongly preferred
Strong expertise in financial planning, controls, reporting, and compliance
Excellent commercial acumen and business partnering capabilities
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions
Experience operating within international hospitality structures
Fluent English and Italian is essential. Spanish will be highly valued.
Qualifications:
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are highly valued
Strong understanding of hospitality financial operations and reporting standards
