Senior Electronics Design EngineerEmbedded Electronics | Hardware DesignRemote-first | Hybrid option in Milano, ItalyInitial 12 months contract + potential project extensionsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to design and develop high-performance electronics for embedded and connected products, supporting projects from early concept and feasibility studies through to validation and production release.This role sits at the core of product development, working closely with firmware, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, production-ready hardware in industrial and connected device environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop analog and digital circuits for embedded systemsCreate and review schematics and multi-layer PCB layoutsPerform component selection, derating analysis, and validationSupport hardware bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysisCollaborate closely with embedded software engineers during integrationConduct design reviews and ensure compliance with EMC, signal integrity, and power integrity requirementsSupport prototyping, testing, and transition to manufacturingContribute to documentation including schematics, BoMs, and test reportsRequired Experience & Skills5+ years of experience in electronics hardware designStrong proficiency with Altium Designer (or similar EDA tools)Solid background in mixed-signal design (analog + digital)Experience with microcontrollers, power supplies, communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN)Understanding of EMC, signal integrity, grounding, and power design principlesExperience supporting board bring-up and lab debuggingFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and DFM/DFT principlesNice to HaveExperience in industrial, automotive, or IoT productsKnowledge of high-speed interfacesExperience with compliance testingWhy Join?Work on technically challenging embedded hardwareRemote-first flexibility with hybrid options in MilanLong-term product development in a serious engineering environment
