Ph3Overview /h3pOliver Wyman is actively seeking an FPA Analyst for a permanent role to join our Commercial Business Partnering team within Europe FPA, based in Milan. /ppAs an FPA Analyst for the Europe region, you will report into the Head of Commercial Business Partnering – Europe FPA and support commercial financial analysis for: /pulliSouth East Europe /liliThe Customer Innovation Growth and Finance, Risk Restructuring practices /li /ulpThis is a hybrid role that requires at least 3 days per week in the Milan office. There is no option to be fully remote. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliSupport day-to-day financial planning and analysis for South East Europe, CIG FRR, including management reporting, financial inputs to strategic decision making, commercial pricing support, and investment prioritization, under the guidance of senior team members. /liliEngage with business leaders, plus colleagues in other support teams (including Human Capital and the Business Impact Team), to support quarterly business reviews and the annual budget cycle (revenue and capacity) for the supported business intersections. /liliSupport the regional forecasting and budget process by contributing to the monitoring and analysis of success fees, AR and WIP risks. Assist in managing the backlog of active projects, ensuring that information is up to date, appropriately reflected in forecasts, and aligned with expected revenue recognition. /liliAssist in the analysis of project and partner economics and in the provision of timely information to support queries or requests from regional and practice leaders. /liliContribute to FPA process improvement and MIS reporting initiatives and automation, including supporting work to enhance and standardize reporting, improve data quality, and leverage tools such as Tableau, Tableau Prep and SQL where appropriate. Experience with AI-enabled and advanced analytics tools can be used to further improve efficiency and insight in reporting and forecasting. /li /ulh3Experience Required /h3ulliBA or BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or another quantitative field preferred. /liliTypically 2–4 years of experience in a consulting, financial, or analytical role (for example, FPA, commercial finance, audit, transaction services, or management consulting). /liliFluency in English and Italian (both mandatory) for this Milan-based role. /liliStrong financial planning and/or accounting background. /liliStrong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. /liliExperience with modern tools like Tableau, Tableau Prep and SQL to build data models and automate reporting and analytics is a plus. /liliExperience with Certinia professional services automation software is a plus. /liliDemonstrated interest in working with AI-enabled tools (for example, AI copilots or automated reporting solutions) and in exploring how they can be applied within FPA to enhance analysis and reporting. /li /ulh3Skills and Attributes /h3ulliSuperior analytical skills and attention to detail. /liliStrong communication skills with colleagues at all levels of the organization, with an emphasis on providing clear, actionable analysis and insight. /liliStrong initiative to seek and accept new challenges, with a high level of intellectual curiosity and an orientation to finding solutions. /liliAbility to work independently on assigned tasks with appropriate guidance, and to collaborate effectively with others in support of the team’s objectives. /liliThrives in a strong team environment, including willingness to assist other team members and share knowledge. /liliAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. /liliOpenness to learning and applying new technologies, including AI-based tools and data visualization platforms, and the ability to translate these into practical improvements in reporting, forecasting and analysis. /li /ulpAt Oliver Wyman, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
