Purpose of the job
The Industrialization Engineer is responsible for industrializing the maintenance, renovation/modernisation, and warranty activities to ensure the delivery of maintenance and production objectives.
Responsibilities
* Analyze requirements in the maintenance plan.
* Draft and validate process documentation (Standard Operation Sheet).
* Identify necessary tools and materials, from technical specifications to field validation.
* Organize layout (facilities, workstations, flow of materials/people, number of operators, civil works).
* Validate the optimal strategy with the project team to maximize production resource utilization.
* Organize maintenance activities in line with Alstom standards (sequence, cycle time, delivery, packaging, ergonomics, skills, EHS, quality).
* Manage documentation on SAP Railsys (task list, materials, tools).
* Validate processes on the field with the operations team.
* Manage suppliers for main equipment creation.
* Analyze and implement actions to improve project performance.
* Respect budget constraints.
* Develop business cases for investment evaluation and Make or Buy strategies.
Requirements
2 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in the railway industry within an international organization.
Ability to read schematics and drawings.
Experience in Methods Engineering, writing and improving manufacturing/maintenance instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up.
Knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems.
Proven ability to innovate and manage change.
Excellent teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Willingness to learn and grow.
Fluent in English and Italian.
