KCA (part of Viking EMEA) employs around 30 people and acts as Centre of Excellence for foam products development and manufacturing. Driven by our continuous growth, for our manufacturing location in Bressana, Bottarone (PV), we are searching for a Quality Manager who will support the development of the business and the improvement of the quality standards.
As Quality Manager you will lead quality initiatives, drive continuous improvement and ensure the production of high-quality products within the plant. The role will cover customer quality, supplier quality, and production quality to maintain excellence across the entire supply chain.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and systems to ensure product consistency and compliance
Ensure overall compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
Manage customer service quality, ensuring prompt response to complaints, implementing corrective actions, and improving overall customer satisfaction
Oversee supplier quality by working closely with vendors to ensure compliance with specifications and continuous improvement
Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
Define and track quality metrics related to the cost of non-quality and customer satisfaction to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance quality and efficiency
Train plant personnel on quality procedures, fostering a culture of quality and compliance
Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality management role within manufacturing environment
Proven hands-on experience with ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
Proficiency in business English and Italian
Proficient in MS Office tool set, with advanced knowledge of Excel
The role requires occasional spot travelling throughout Europe for short missions
