Overview

The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of EBDA. This position requires an organized, proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will help foster a professional and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to staff members and contract accountant.
* Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and prepare agendas and meeting minutes.
* Maintain office files, records, and documentation, ensuring they are organized and accessible.
* Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
* Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy.
* Process invoices and maintain financial records as needed.
* Support the implementation of projects and initiatives as directed.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
* Familiarity with basic budgeting principles and financial record-keeping is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
