Job Overview
The candidate will be part of the "Application and Infrastructure Operations" team within "Connectivity E2E Support and Solution Engineering" department with a special focus to portals, tools and infrastructure used by our customer to manage broadband services of Eutelsat Company.
He/she will collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to improve solutions and services and solve issues that may affect digital platforms and related hardware where they are hosted on. The main duty of this position is to maintain computer networks and systems, develop and/or implement change requests and to support operational staff for incident resolution. This position will also provide support for problem investigations.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering, Business, Digital Transformation, or a related field
- Proven experience in digital customer experience management, IT services, or a similar role will be a plus
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, customer journey mapping, and IT service management (ITSM)
- Experience with Salseforce CRM, automation tools, and analytics platforms will be a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
- Knowledge of Unix-based computer operating systems, networking tools (i.e. Telnet, SSH, FTP/SCP) and standard business software (spreadsheets, word processing, presentations)
- Experience in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Bash, Java).
- Experience with API testing (REST, SOAP) will be a plus
- Experience with DB (MySQL), the knowledge of Clickhouse will be a plus
- Knowledge of automation (Jenkins) and version control systems (Git) will be a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and VMWare
- Fluent in English language, detail-oriented with interpersonal and organizational skills. Knowledge of French language is a preferable asset
