Ph3Overview /h3 pbDescription /b The Sales Operations Manager will support the country lead with all aspects of product installation and maintenance in Italy as we continue to expand the business. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners – including service providers, host partners, technology and product management, and the local business development team. The individual must be analytical and creative, seeking ways to improve products, processes, and tools, and executing on those ideas. Strong interpersonal skills are important as the position will have frequent interaction with leadership at Amazon and partner companies. Amazon Hub PARP is growing and we are working to create a world class delivery experience for customers through alternate delivery options – lockers and pickup points. If you are passionate about delivery operations and look around corners for ways to serve customers, we want your help. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liStrategic Leadership Operations: Lead end-to-end installation, maintenance, and post-installation operations (removal, decommissioning, moves, resizing) for Pickup and Return Points across assigned markets /li liDrive strategic projects including new product launches (Gen5 lockers), geographic expansion, and process improvements aligned with business objectives /li liSupplier Vendor Management: Manage complex supplier relationships across installation and maintenance services, negotiating contracts to achieve 90%+ SLA compliance /li liScale supplier capacity strategically, ensuring redundancy on critical services while driving cost reductions /li liHardware Sourcing Inventory Management: Own hardware sourcing strategy, importation logistics, and inventory management across multiple countries and locker generations /li liOptimize inventory allocation through refurbishment programs, cross-country transfers, and demand forecasting to minimize holding costs /li liProcess Optimization Automation: Leverage AI tools and low/no-code solutions to streamline operational processes, targeting 15-30% productivity gains through automation /li liFinancial Management: Manage program finance including purchase orders, invoice processing, and PL ownership for assigned cost centers /li liWork within imparted budgets while identifying savings opportunities through supplier optimization and process improvements /li liStakeholder Management Influence: Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Sales, Quality, Product/Tech, Finance, Marketing) to support business objectives /li liInfluence internal and external stakeholders through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations /li liData Analysis Performance Management: Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify root causes of operational issues and improvement opportunities /li liMonitor and report on KPIs including 99%+ uptime targets, DPMO, FTDS, cycle time, and cost performance /li liEstablish dashboards and alarming mechanisms to proactively flag performance deterioration /li liOperational Excellence Change Management: Maintain network reliability through proactive maintenance strategies and quality control mechanisms /li liLead teams through operational transformations, new technology implementations, and process redesigns /li liPromote adaptability to rapid business changes and scaling requirements /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in operations, supply chain, business administration, or related field /li li3+ years managing end-to-end operational processes including installation, maintenance, or field service operations /li liDemonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating service level agreements with measurable performance improvements /li liDemonstrated experience using project management tools to deliver projects on time with documented milestone tracking /li liDemonstrated experience managing budgets exceeding $1MM annually including purchase orders and invoice processing /li liDemonstrated experience conducting data analysis to identify operational issues and implementing solutions with measurable KPI improvements /li liDemonstrated experience managing hardware inventory or physical assets across multiple locations /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field /li li5+ years in operations management within logistics, last-mile delivery, or retail technology sectors /li liExperience managing 3+ vendors achieving 90%+ SLA compliance while reducing costs by 15%+ annually /li liExperience implementing GenAI or agentic AI tools to automate processes with 15%+ productivity improvements /li liExperience leading strategic projects involving new product launches or geographic expansion with significant business impact /li liExperience influencing senior leadership through data-driven presentations that led to investments or strategic pivots /li liExperience optimizing PL performance with cost reductions while maintaining service quality /li liExperience developing operational strategies that scaled capacity without proportional headcount increases /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
