You may also be responsible for extracting detailed quantities to be used as the basis for requests for quotations. /p pThe position will require basic knowledge of construction project cost forecasting and control methodologies, planning in relation to earned value, delay analysis, mitigation measures, and work progress control. /p pThe activities will be carried out in close collaboration and continuous communication with the contract working group, both as a whole and in its various sub-components. /p h3DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION /h3 ul liDeveloping and maintaining cost control procedures for the project. /li liAcquiring in-depth knowledge of costs and their composition in collaboration with project and area managers. /li liManaging and controlling project costs and coordination (timely and accurate preparation). /li liPreparing subcontractor accounts and payment certificates. /li liImplementing, in consultation with the administrative manager, effective practices for monitoring contract consumption and subcontractor performance, comparing them with expected results and the budget in particular, and promptly reporting and addressing any issues. /li liProvide support to construction teams, including requirements and reporting structures, forecasts, timing guidance, and transparency (particularly variations and contingencies). /li liDevelop and update economic forecasts, integrated with planning, at the project level, and prepare budget revisions for approval by managers. /li liProvide early warning notifications in case of problems. /liliProactively identify and recommend solutions to improve processes. /li liAnalyze deviations and proposed corrective measures in collaboration with project and area managers. /li liSend analysis reports to the Project Director for the Steering Committee. /li liCollaborate with site staff to enter costs daily with the correct allocation of cost codes. /li liCollaborate with the administrative project and area manager in preparing end‑of‑month provisions/accruals. /li liResponsible, in coordination with the administrative project manager, for ensuring that all provisions/accruals are entered into the system on time. /li liManage the transfer of costs between consortium members. /li liCompare production with the customer's request for economic progress (SIL/SAL). /li liInteract with the procurement and scheduling team. /li liPrepare requests for proposals and requests for orders (RFP/RdO) in consultation with site managers. /li liSupport site and contract managers in evaluating technical and financial proposals received to ensure compliance with project requirements and budget constraints. /li liEnter the budget into the system for both the company and the job order. /li liImplement and apply, under the guidance of project managers, aspects of project risk management, including the implementation of processes, tools, and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor, and report risks. /li liAssist in the development and management of processes to identify and assess business area risks and risk and control self‑assessments. /li liSupport the process of developing risk policies and procedures, risk limits, and approval delegations. /li liMonitor risks, particularly the most critical ones, and manage the process of reporting them to higher levels, where appropriate. /li liManage the reporting process for risk assessment and cost and production control, and maintain the elements that constitute it (e.g., management reporting, including reporting to senior management). /li liMaintain orderly, accurate, and up‑to‑date accounting records of subcontractors' activities. /li /ul h3KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES /h3 ul liExcellent interpersonal skills with excellent, effective written and verbal communication skills. /li liStrong propensity for regular information sharing across the project team, with a focus on critical information such as risk changes, cost or production deviations, order consumption, etc. /li liKnowledge of and interest in project management methodologies, with reference to project controlling (cost, time, scope, quality, and risk control). /li liInterest in daily operating methodologies and construction site management, particularly infrastructure. /li liAbility to negotiate with subcontractors during the accounting phase of services, in the event of differing interpretations of contractual conditions. /li liInternal/external customer focus. /li liExcellent communication skills, careful management of subcontractors, visitors, and customers. /li liKnowledge of office methods and procedures, equipment, and filing systems. /li liDaily communication with supervisors and colleagues to identify the best solutions to problems. /li /ul h3ADDITIONAL INFORMATION /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar, supply chain management, or another field with knowledge of project management, project control, or a related field.
