Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health. HT is composed of five Centers: Neurogenomics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, and Health Data Science.
The Procurement and Supply Chain (PSC) area is looking for a
Planning and Monitoring Manager : the new colleague will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing procurement and supply chain processes. This role involves defining service priorities, establishing performance metrics, forecasting demand, managing budgets, evaluating supplier performance, and supporting digital transformation initiatives within the PSC department.
Key tasks and responsibilities Define service priorities and establish procurement KPIs in collaboration with the Head of PSC. Analyze consumption trends and forecast demand to support multi-year procurement planning and budgeting. Monitor contracts and supplier performance, conduct audits, and oversee improvement plans. Support digitalization initiatives by implementing and maintaining procurement software and supplier registries. Collaborate with Finance and other departments to align procurement plans with institutional goals. Prepare reports and dashboards on procurement activities, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
Essential requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 5-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain data analysis. Strong analytical skills and experience with forecasting and KPI development. Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management systems. Fluency in English. Preferential requirements: Experience in supplier performance management and contract monitoring. Experience in consultancy firms Knowledge of digital tools and transformation projects in procurement contexts. Familiarity with regulatory authorities and compliance procedures (e.g., Corte dei Conti, audits). Organizational and social skills: Excellent organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills Attention to detail Teamworking attitude

54k-57k, depending on the seniority of the candidate. Tax benefits where applicable. The position is based in Milan.
