All about the role: The Global Technology and Labs (T&L) is a global team (290 employees) based in 4 different continents (Europe, Asia, North & South America) responsible to drive, at global level, the definition and the deployment of the technology roadmap for the following domains related to Washing Machines, Tumble Dryer: - Digital & Power Electronic; - Electric components and mechatronics systems; - Human machine interface solutions; - Control Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence; - Washing and Drying Product functionalities. What you’ll do: Within this complex organization, the Technical Program Office (TPO) is growing and we are looking for a Technical Leader to join the team. In this role you will act as a reference between the Technology & Laboratories (T&L), Architectures (CA) and other functions. In detail, you will: Collect Requirements per project included in the Portfolio, drive the Feasibility in terms of desired timing and attributes working with all R&D teams (T&L, CA) and eventually re-loop with all involved stakeholders. Drive, monitor and report out the Project Status in terms of Planning, Product Cost and Project Costs to the Project Leader. Drive the countermeasures in case some KPIs have a gap versus the target Monitor status of activities, follow-up necessary updates, manage the escalation in case of necessity Guarantee the alignment of projects between Global and Regional R&D teams Guarantee Check Point material availability and presence Impact of Change management Risk management Monitor the overall project/activity status within Tech&Labs organization Lead a team of engineers to drive the different activities Responsible for project planning with respect of: Testing Capabilities optimization Standardization of timeframe and resources/ type of test (Standard Time);Prototype optimization, planning along projects and life management Who you are: Previous experience in Project Management (nice to have); you are used to deal with different stakeholders and act as a facilitator to move things forward Electronic/ Mechanic degree or similar experience (nice to have) Fabric Care, Home Appliance product knowledge (nice to have) You are resilient; it’s hard to make you feel discouraged in front of a challenge, you know what be solution-oriented means. You are willing to travel to meet the stakeholders. You are goal oriented but you never forget to be a team player. Flexibility is in your DNA. You have the sensibility for a 360 view on projects. English language Where you’ll be: You will be based in Porcia, located in the metropolitan area of Pordenone (Northeast Italy), where the main Electrolux R&D centre is located. Here, in a dynamic environment, we develop and test domestic appliances such as Dishwashers, Washing Machines, Washer Dryers and Tumble Dryers.
