The position You will be part of the Technical Department, working in a fleet team responsible for the daily activities of our vessels. After a familiarization period of approximately four months, you will be responsible for one to two vessels and report to your Fleet Team Manager, who will coach and supervise you. As a Junior Technical Superintendent, your responsibilities include ensuring vessels operate safely, economically, and efficiently, preparing budgets and maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs and dry-dockings, monitoring budgets, and advising onboard management. You will also conduct regular visits worldwide to assess vessel performance and report your findings. We provide relevant internal and external training, opportunities to visit vessels worldwide, assist at dry-dockings, and onboard short sailing trips, including visits to our branch office in Italy. The goal is to develop into a Technical Superintendent within one to three years, managing five vessels independently.
