Sophisticated Middleware Development
We are seeking a talented Java developer to join our team in developing and maintaining a robust middleware layer built on Spring Boot. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Cloud, Mobile, and Web application teams to ensure seamless integration with IoT robotic devices.
This role involves maintaining, enhancing, and expanding existing middleware solutions, collaborating with developers from other areas to ensure high-quality APIs, and improving the overall architecture, scalability, and maintainability of the middleware layer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and enhance existing middleware solutions built on Java/Spring Boot.
* Collaborate closely with developers from other areas to ensure robust integration and high-quality APIs.
* Improve overall architecture, scalability, and maintainability of the middleware layer.
* Participate actively in solution design, providing expertise to drive sound technical decisions.
* Assist in diagnosing and resolving performance issues and application bottlenecks.
Requirements:
* Mid-to-Senior level experience as a Java developer, specifically within middleware or backend roles.
* Solid expertise in Java and proven experience with frameworks like Spring Boot or similar technologies.
* Familiarity with event-driven systems and microservice architectures.
* Experience with relational databases and comfortable designing efficient database schemas and queries.
* Proven experience building REST APIs and integrations with complex backend systems.
* Proactive mindset, comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and taking ownership of tasks.
* Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
* Fluent in English; excellent written and spoken communication skills.
