In this role you will lead the Finance & Administration function in a PE-backed, asset-heavy environment, steering financial strategy, cash flow, and reporting to investors and the board. You will drive value creation through cost control, margins improvement, and potential investments, while supporting growth, acquisitions, and process optimisation. You will collaborate with top management to align financial decisions with fund requirements and strategic objectives. This position offers visibility across the organisation and a chance to shape financial governance and performance.
* Define and implement financial strategy aligned with company objectives and PE fund requirements
* Oversee accounting, statutory and management reporting for entities and the board
* Prepare budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans with variance analysis
* Monitor key financial KPIs: topline, margins, cash flow, ROI, leverage, DSCR
* Oversee pricing, revenue optimisation, and labour cost control with workforce planning
* Manage liquidity, debt, covenants, and lender negotiations
* Coordinate with banks, investment funds, and external advisors
* Oversee tax, compliance, internal controls, and audit committee processes
* Develop and coordinate the Finance & Administration team and PE-grade reporting tools
* Continuously improve planning and control processes
* Degree in Economics, Finance, or related disciplines; MBA or Master’s is a plus
* Minimum 10 years in senior finance roles, in PE-backed environments, preferably multi-site
* Experience supporting M&A / bolt-on transactions from due diligence to integration
* Proven weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting to investors or boards
* Solid knowledge of accounting, management control, corporate finance, taxation, and cash management
* Advanced financial analysis and economic modelling skills
* Excellent command of Excel and ERP systems
* Fluent English and Italian
* Leadership, authority, and business orientation
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with PE investors and lenders
* Pragmatic, hands-on, and results-oriented approach
