Ph3Proposal Engineer Fire – Johnson Controls /h3 pbWhat you will do /b /p ul liThe Proposal Engineer will issue proposals and manage the relationship with the customer within the tender framework, providing high‑level understanding of requirements and supporting the salesperson in developing the business opportunity. /li liProposal development and ownership. /li liEnsure that a quote meets customers’ application and operational needs. /li liConduct site surveys and meetings with customers to ensure needs and solutions are well understood and investigated, also proposing alternative best‑fitted solutions. /li liProvide support on technical solutions and benefits. /li liPrepare customer quotations that are technically accurate and on time, commercially verified, offering the best all‑round solution (including buy‑out scope). /li liOwn materials estimates, services estimates, other costs as applicable and proposal strategy in cooperation with the salesperson. /li liManage the technical commercial bid review process in accordance with DOA. /li liManage handover between proposal and operation/execution team after contract awarding. /li liAttend relevant technical and commercial trainings as required to maintain a high level of product, codes and process knowledge, including new products as they are released. /li /ul pbWhat we look for /b /p ul liDegree in Engineering Discipline or equivalent in a relevant engineering field; electrical and process is preferred. /li liKnowledge of fire detection solutions for the OG and power market, industry and real estate; knowledge of foam and gas suppression will be a plus. /li liKnowledge of fire protection standards and regulations. /li liExperience in design and quote turnkey supplies is considered a plus. /li liAbility to work under pressure and within a multinational organization. /li liMinimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the same role. /li liFluent Italian English language skills (verbal, reading and writing). /li liMid‑Senior level /li /ul pbOur benefits /b /p pWe offer an exciting and challenging position with great personal freedom and professional responsibility.
