The Guest Services Officer must possess outstanding hospitality, focused customer service, strong communication, organizational skills and effective decision-making abilities. /p h3QUALIFICATIONS /h3 pMust be Italian speaking, Minimum hiring and physical requirements to perform the job. /p pHiring Requirements: /p ul liMinimum one-year experience in a customer contact position within the hotel field or related industry. /li liMinimum one-year cash handling experience, and an understanding of US currency and exchange rates required. /li liProven customer service skills to interact appropriately with guests in a considerate, Professional and positive manner by showing concern and listening actively. /li liAbility to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and shipboard employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions. /li liAbility to operate basic office equipment, including telephones, computers and copy machines. /li liCompletion of high school or basic education equivalency preferred. /li liMust be willing to work onboard for 5-6 months. /li /ul h3Language Requirements: /h3 ul liRequired to speak English and Italian clearly and distinctly. /li liAptitude to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures.
