Our eight brands are each a major force in its specific business /ppbr/ppstrongWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR /strong: /ppbr/ppFor our Iveco Defence Vehicles and Astra business units, we are looking for a REACH/IMDS Compliance Officer /ppbr/ppstrongRole Objective /strong /ppEnsure regulatory and environmental compliance of supplied components through proactive follow-up and document management with suppliers (MDS/REACH, PAPP), autonomous use of the IMDS portal, validation of compliance declarations, and collaboration with engineering for material analysis. The role also includes internal technical support, regulatory training, and assistance to the inspection department during supplier audits. /ppbr/ppstrongMain Responsibilities /strong /pulliReview and validate documentation provided by suppliers to ensure material and component compliance with REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006). /liliFollow up with suppliers to upload the necessary documentation for MDS/REACH sheets to be completed by engineering. /liliCollect, analyze, and validate supplier declarations of conformity. /liliCollaborate with the Product Engineering department for material analysis and proper classification of substances used. /liliIndependently consult and use the IMDS portal for data entry and verification. /liliProvide internal training and technical support on environmental and regulatory compliance. /liliUpdate monitoring files related to the PAPP process for various vehicle production programs. /liliSupport the acceptance testing department in technical verification activities at supplier sites. /liliRequest necessary documentation from suppliers for the PAPP process or any approvals. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequired Qualifications /strong /pulliTechnical diploma or degree (preferably in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar). /liliBasic experience in compiling and managing IMDS and REACH documentation in the automotive sector. /liliKnowledge of REACH and RoHS regulations. /liliOperational knowledge of the IMDS platform. /liliGood understanding of technical drawings and materials used in mechanical/plastic components. /liliExcellent command of Office software (especially Excel) and enterprise management systems. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongSoft Skills /strong /pulliMethodical and detail-oriented work approach. /liliAbility to interpret regulations and technical documentation. /liliPrecision, reliability, and ability to work independently. /liliStrong communication skills for interaction with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies. /liliTeamwork skills and ability to operate in regulated environments. /li /ul
