Role Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and security of crew, passengers, cargo, and aircraft at all times.
* Exercise full command of the aircraft from taxi‑out to final engine shutdown.
* Lead the flight and cabin crew, demonstrating strong decision‑making and effective crew resource management.
* Operate with efficiency and environmental responsibility, in line with company fuel and sustainability policies.
* Deliver consistent on‑time performance to meet Etihad’s commitment to reliability and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 5,500 total flying hours.
* A minimum of 2,500 PIC hours on multi‑crew, glass cockpit aircraft.
* A minimum of 1,500 PIC hours on one of the A320 family.
* Flown an A320 family aircraft within the last 12 months.
* Valid A320 type rating for at least 2 months at the time of joining.
* Unrestricted and current ICAO ATPL.
* Current on A320.
* Unrestricted and current Class 1 medical.
* Age under 59 years on the day of joining.
* Current TRE/TRI rating is an advantage.
* English language fluency (written and verbal) Level 4 or higher.
* If hours are accumulated on flights with inflight relief, 75% of the total hours shall be counted towards the required minimum.
* Glass cockpit refers to aircraft with an FMS coupled to an APFDS. (Additional technical knowledge may be required.)
