About This Role
We seek a Senior-Level Full Stack Engineer to join 718 Digital Labs on a contract basis with the potential for full-time transition. You will lead the development of features, guide technical decisions, and mentor junior developers on projects such as:
* Volunteer Portal – Connect alumni with mentors and track engagement
* Knowledge Base + AI Chatbot – Build a resource hub and GPT-powered chat support
* DigitalPipeline.io – Connect community members to training, resources, and videos
* KnowledgeBox – Use AI and LMS to generate personalized learning pathways
Responsibilities
* Lead development and deployment of features across TKH’s digital platforms
* Manage technical architecture, standards, and code reviews
* Ensure best practices in CI/CD, testing, and security
* Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders
* Implement AI tools and automation to improve efficiency
* Evaluate and improve technical processes and frameworks
Qualifications
* 5+ years of full stack development experience (JavaScript/Node.js/React or similar)
* Proven ability to deliver production applications independently
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps
* Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and integration
* Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
* Proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django or Flask
Skills & Approach
* Ability to work independently and manage workstreams
* Strong focus on code quality, testing, and documentation
* Excellent communication skills
* Mentoring and influencing technical direction
Compensation
* $48/hour
* 34 hours/week
* 6-month contract-to-hire
