Apply now to join the Corinthia Rome Pre-Opening Team — and help us define a new era of hospitality!
A new icon is rising in the Eternal City. Corinthia Rome is preparing to open its doors in one of the most prestigious and historic locations in the city — and we are looking for a People & Culture Supervisor to join our pre-opening team.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building a luxury hotel from the ground up — with a specific focus on Learning & Development, onboarding, employee engagement, and a wide range of other HR activities. You will help shape the service culture, define talent development strategies, and set the tone for excellence across all departments.
What You’ll Focus On:
Design, launch, and manage our full L&D ecosystem — from onboarding and orientation to long-term development plans, career pathing, and compliance training. You’ll be setting the standard for how we train, grow, and elevate our people.
You must have hands-on experience with LQA and Forbes Five-Star standards. You’ll work with external providers and department heads to ensure training aligns with the highest expectations of international luxury hospitality, and that our guest experience is consistently world-class.
As the hotel opens, you’ll lead the onboarding experience — integrating new hires into our Corinthia family, sharing the unique story of the historic property, and helping every colleague connect with our values from Day One.
You will support department heads by identifying training needs, analysing feedback and performance data, and developing targeted learning plans that enhance individual and team excellence.
You’ll foster a vibrant, inclusive work culture through daily presence on the floor, internal communications, employee events, wellness initiatives, and creative recognition programs. You’ll be the link between people, purpose, and performance.
In addition to L&D, you will assist in all HR functions, including recruitment, attendance management, and supporting day-to-day People & Culture activities. You will provide vital support to the Director of People & Culture, ensuring alignment with corporate HR policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to local labour laws and company regulations.
You will be responsible for overseeing the e-learning platform, ensuring it is utilized effectively to deliver training programs and track progress. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring the hotel complies with all Health & Safety regulations, organizing mandatory training, and ensuring that all colleagues are equipped with the knowledge and tools to work safely.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in HR or L&D roles within luxury hospitality
Mandatory knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards
Experience in training program design, onboarding, employee engagement & recruitment
Proficiency in Italian & English (written and spoken)
Strong skills in attendance management, HR systems, and corporate policy adherence
Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations in hospitality
Confidence with e-learning platforms and digital training
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Degree in HR, hospitality, or related field preferred
A proactive, collaborative mindset and attention to detail
Why to Join Corinthia Rome?
You’ll be part of a once-in-a-lifetime project — shaping a 5-star luxury hotel from the very beginning. Corinthia is known globally for elegance, authenticity, and excellence, and in Rome, that legacy will come to life in a breathtaking way.
If you're passionate about people, learning, luxury, and purpose, and you’re ready to leave your mark on the next great hotel in Italy, we’d love to hear from you.
