Ph3bTechnical Sales Support Specialist – Calderys /b /h3pJoin to apply for the bTechnical Sales Support Specialist /b role at bCalderys /b. /ppResponsibilities: /pulliParticipate in customers discussions for technical sales on identified opportunities /liliEnsure the connection of experiences and technical proposals between Calderys experts and customers /liliSupervision and verification of the refractory materials installation activities, intervening when requested, proposing the necessary corrections during the works /liliLift customers' technical objections /liliIdentify technical opportunities on existing products to optimize value proposition /liliCustomer Innovation /liliIdentify unmet technical needs of customers and develop potential new products/solutions /liliIntroduce and track KPIs to validate the effectiveness of new products /liliAct as link between customers and RD/ ST/ Operations on new product development /liliLead trial management at the customer site and supervise trials at Calderys plant on new products /liliManage qualification process at customers for new products /liliManagement of Significant Customer Quality Issues /liliRespond to customers on significant quality issues and analyze causes and possible solutions /liliLiaise with operations/ quality managers on solution identification and implementation /liliInternal and External Expert Role /liliManage technical training of sales/ marketing staff on his/her area of expertise /liliAct as technical ambassador for his/her area of expertise in external communication (customer technical training, participation in external knowledge sharing, fairs conferences, etc.) /liliProvide sales support by conducting cost analyses and defining products and projects /liliPrices to customers /liliParticipate in budget sales planning, ensure forecast accuracy, set sales performance goals accordingly /li /ulpIdeal Job Holder Profile / Competencies: /pulliHigh School scientific Diploma or equivalent education in related fields /liliKnowledge of refractory materials /liliMinimum 5 years experience in a technical sales/supervision role /liliKnowledge of the relevant industry and market /liliBusiness acumen and technical appetite /liliStrong analytical, interpersonal and communication (including negotiation) skills; value-added solution selling /liliAbility to use common IT tools (Excel, Word, Web tools) /liliCommercial abilities/skills would be an advantage /liliMandatory use of English (technical and commercial) /liliReadiness to do regular business trips, mainly within Italy (up to 80%) /li /ulpAbout Calderys: /ppCalderys is a leading global solution provider for industries operating in high temperature conditions.
