Facilitate cross‑functional meetings to communicate project goals, track progress through detailed reports, and resolve technical challenges collaboratively.Manage budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure cost‑effective production transfers.Oversee and manage the implementation of the 0 series at the new production facility by monitoring project timelines, ensuring adherence to quality standards, coordinating with engineering and production teams, addressing any technical or logistical issues, and reporting progress to senior management.Share project updates with stakeholders by organising regular meetings, distributing detailed progress emails, and ensuring that all relevant documents are accessible through shared platforms. Provide comprehensive status reports to senior leadership on a weekly or biweekly basis, including key milestones achieved, any challenges encountered, risk assessments, and next steps.Identify potential risks and implement contingency plans to address challenges proactively.Lead training and onboarding initiatives for staff at the new production location.Keep comprehensive records and documentation for the entire transfer process, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, transfer checklists, communication logs, approval forms, and training materials.Oversee the process qualification assessment by coordinating with relevant stakeholders to evaluate the operational maturity of the receiving unit, collecting and analysing process documentation, conducting interviews or site visits, and identifying gaps that could impact performance or compliance.Your BackgroundMaster’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field), or a Senior Technical High School Diploma in Industrial Engineering with equivalent knowledge.Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management and Supplier Quality.Proven track record of successful project management and cross‑functional team leadership.Operational expertise in coordinating new product implementation and transferring production between factories is a plus.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean production principles.Strong communication and leadership skills.Fluent English; proficiency in Italian is a plus.Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.Familiarity with structured product development processes and tools (e.g., CAD, FEM, PLM, ERP).Willingness to travel and work across multiple production sites as required.Quality Auditor Certification is a plus.More About UsWe offer you the opportunity to work with fantastic people and develop yourself on projects that present great technical challenges and have a real impact.Wide Range Of BenefitsHealth insurancePension fundWelfareSmart workingFlexible working hoursCanteenHitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
