Job DescriptionABOUT THE ROLEProfessionLX specializes in professional services where we engage our employees to empower them to excel for our customers. We are currently seeking full-time Telephony Technician candidates to join our team in support of the US Air Force in Aviano, Italy. This position will serve as a primary point of contact for telephony issues, assisting customers with IT-related requests, managing IT in-processing and out-processing procedures,and maintaining accurate records of all IT assets.. Successful candidates will possess at least 1 year of related experience and be familiar with DHA IT procedures. Candidates must posses existing base access.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Telephony Support: The System Technician will focus on several key areas. Fortelephony support, the technician will provide first-level technical assistancefor the MTF telephone system, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, andrespond to user inquiries about phone functionality and related services. Theywill also configure and maintain telephone extensions and voicemail accounts,escalate complex issues as necessary, assist with the installation andrelocation of telephone equipment, and maintain documentation related to thetelephony system.
Customer Service: The System Technician willbe the primary contact for IT-related requests, providing prompt and courteousassistance through various channels. They will log customer service requests inthe IT help desk system, manage IT in-processing and out-processing for MTFstaff, assist users with IT equipment, and follow up to ensure satisfactoryresolution of issues. Basic IT tasks, such as password resets and accountunlocks, will also be part of their responsibilities.
IT Inventory Management: The System Technician will maintainan accurate inventory of IT assets, track their movement, conduct regularaudits, and assist with the disposal of surplus equipment according to DHApolicies. They will keep records of software licenses, ensure compliance,generate inventory reports, and utilize the Defense Medical Logistics StandardSupport (DMLSS) system for inventory tasks.
General It Support: General IT support duties willinclude setting up computer workstations, aiding in software installation,troubleshooting network connectivity issues, maintaining an organized workenvironment, adhering to DHA IT security policies, and participating in trainingand development activities. Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisoras needed.

Understanding of basic telephony system
Familiarity with DHA IT procedures
YOUR EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred
