We are seeking an experienced CI Specialist / Continuous Improvement Business Partner (M / F / d) responsible for managing the execution of strategies that support Xylem’s Lean transformation. The role focuses on enhancing our value proposition to customers and delivering significant financial results. You will support multiple international sites to foster cultural lean development and empowerment at a macro level, while facilitating transformations and events aimed at waste elimination within the organization. Locations: Herford or Ludwigshafen (Germany), Sundbyberg (Sweden), Nanterre (France), Montecchio (Italy). Other Xylem locations in Europe are also options. The role offers a hybrid contract and requires travel of 50% or more as needed. Key Tasks: Lead the implementation, standardization, and consistency of CI practices across multiple sites, including training, projects, processes, methods, and tools to eliminate waste and promote flow. Deliver training and coaching to teams and colleagues. Collaborate with site business leaders to support their priorities and align CI projects accordingly. Proactively identify operational and strategic improvement opportunities, sharing best practices and lessons learned. Mentor and coach teams in process mapping, 5S, VSM, and other lean events. Analyze KPI trends, identify causes of variances, and communicate findings. Create and finalize standard work documents, procedures, and best practices. Lean Certification or Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred. 5-10 years of industry experience in a lean / continuous improvement organization with an excellent professional record. Expertise in lean business system implementation, development, and management; capable of working independently. Knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement Management. Proficiency in financial data analysis, including understanding financial reports and P&L statements. Strong presentation, project management, facilitation, and influencing skills. Ability to lead teams, show initiative, and support projects strategically and hands-on.
