About the Project
The Senior System/DevOps Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing MyHeritage’s hybrid IT infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments. This role will focus on automation, security, and infrastructure-as-code practices, while collaborating closely with IT and Security teams. The position involves handling tasks and projects via Jira IT/Security projects and tickets.
Required skills:
- 3+ years of experience managing hybrid infrastructure (AWS + On-premises).
- Strong proficiency in Terraform, Spacelift, and IaC principles.
- Proficiency with GitHub for source control and collaboration.
- Experience managing Okta or equivalent IDP systems (SAML, OIDC, MFA, Device Assurance).
- Experience managing ZTNA solutions (Zscaler or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
- Working knowledge of network switch management (Cisco Meraki/Catalyst).
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or equivalent (Microsoft 365, Azure AD).
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, or Security Specialty).
- Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (CIS Benchmarks).
- Experience with hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, or BCP initiatives.
- Certifications: MCSA, CCNA, RHCSA, Jamf Certified Associate, Terraform Associate.
Scope of work:
- Manage AWS and on-premises infrastructure (servers, networks, and storage).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and Spacelift.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
- Oversee and maintain identity management and access systems (Okta, SAML/OIDC).
- Manage network and security tools, including ZTNA (Zscaler or equivalent) and Firewalls (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
- Administer and automate configuration management for Windows and macOS using MDM (Jamf, Endpoint Central, or equivalent).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and related services.
- Monitor systems and performance via Zabbix or equivalent monitoring platforms.
- Support and guide junior administrators and helpdesk teams.
- Participate in IT/Security projects managed in Jira.
- Serve as an on-call escalation point (rotation once every 8 weeks).
