Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions. /ppDescribe the role /ppbWHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: /b /ppMain responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: /pulliServe as a domain expert for Hoffman products (enclosures, industrial climate control, panel shop automation solutions and related software) including their application, for nVent functions including Sales, Product Management, Operations, etc. /liliProvide first line product support by providing help to customers and colleagues using Hoffman products and services /liliProvide technical application assistance to identify modified and engineered products based on customer specification and application requirements. /liliPrepare and submit quotations proposal of non-standard products using internal CPQ and ERP systems. /liliConduct product training to customers and train distributors on quoting tools. /liliPrepare compliance documents against customer specifications. /liliManage strategic projects for product enhancements, cost reduction, product consolidation and new product development. /liliReview training literature for technical accuracy including installation guides and procedures, operations manuals, online learning. /liliRepresent nVent in industry codes and standards committees. /liliProvide market specific intelligence and feedback on products and services to the commercial teams. Assist commercial teams with voice of customer (VOC) visits. /liliPlan activities together with Sales Leader. /liliIdentify project in closing phase with sales team and provide necessary technical support. /liliInform their superior about all situations, developments and occurrences which are important for the superior or are requested by them, as well as about all upcoming decisions which require their approval. /liliMay be required to perform additional duties as assigned. /li /ulpbYOU HAVE: /b /pulliUniversity Degree or equivalent experience / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical Engineering /lili2+ years Manufacturing/Technical experience in a professional target driven business /liliEnglish language skills of at least B2 certificate /liliWilling to travel for visiting customers max 20% of the working schedule /liliWorked for a local sales office for an international manufacturing company. /liliDemonstrated problem solving and complex analytical skills /liliExcellent interpersonal and communication skills /liliMust have strong customer orientation blended with negotiation and cost optimization skills /liliGood time management skills /liliMust have business insight and be able to take initiatives on their own, a good attitude, clean working track record with high integrity, should have democratic approach including directional instruction when required and be a great teammate /liliSelf-motivated independent, be prepared to challenge the market and have a Can Do and Will Do attitude /li /ulpbWE HAVE: /b /pullipA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day /pullipnVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
