Every day. /p h3The Senior Heat Transfer Engineer /h3 pwill directly participate in improving products sold within the oil and gas industry and in creating new products to serve the datacenter market. Thus, the Senior Heat Transfer Engineer actively develops or enhances the Alfa Laval Air product portfolio to realize our customers’ needs and to support the business strategy. /p pThe SHTE will follow the defined product development gates for implementing and communicating the development of new products and/or product enhancements. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport improvement of existing air cooler product lines and development of new product lines collaboration with Bid Engineering and Operation team. /li liDevelop new and support existing thermodynamic rating software related to Finned Tube and Finned Coil Air Cooled Heat Exchangers. /li liDesign and lead performance testing to validate thermal software and engineering correlations that affect overall cost and performance. /li liSupport bidding engineer in case of special quotation or difficult RFQ. /li liTakes direction from Product Management and incorporates feedback from other RD Engineering resources. /li liTeam working with continuous high energy level and flexibility in developing a thermal design solution in function of different customer demands and expectations. /li /ul h3Competences /h3 ul liEducation (degree or years) and/or Certification/Registration: ul liBachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical) required, Graduate level degree or PE Certification highly desired. /li /ul /li liType and Length of Experience: ul liMinimum of 5 years professional experience related to mechanical thermal sizing of air-cooled heat exchangers required. /li liExperience designing Finned Tube and/or Finned Coil air cooled heat exchangers highly preferred. /li liExperience in a role supporting capital equipment sales is highly preferred. /li /ul /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
