We are looking for 2 junior cybersecurity engineers to expand our technical team. Candidates should have less than 5 years of experience in the field, a technical academic background in computer engineering or computer science is required, and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred. The responsibilities include: Identify security risks within organizations and complex systems/architectures; Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across various sectors; Design security measures and provide recommendations to improve security posture; Implement technical security measures, including system/device hardening based on security baselines or requirements; Support customers in cybersecurity activities; Draft technical reports; Develop software code/scripts and configure network devices, possibly using automated tools; Write technical documentation, including descriptions and test procedures. Requirements : Knowledge of security aspects of major Operating Systems; Experience in VA/PT activities (personal interest or passion, e.g., CTF challenges); Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, VB.Net, Python, and familiarity with their interfaces with DBMS and development environments; Strong problem-solving skills; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English; Flexibility and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment; Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; Knowledge of networking models (e.g., ISO/OSI, TCP/IP); Understanding of cryptographic algorithms (e.g., SHA, AES, CBC). Desired Qualifications : Security certifications such as ISO270001 Lead Auditor, GIAC/GICSP, ISA62443, CEH, OSCP, eJPT, PJPT, ISACA CISM/CISA/CRISC, ISC2 CISSP; Experience with security tools/platforms like Ansible, Puppet, vulnerability assessment tools, penetration testing, cloud security, threat intelligence, intrusion detection/prevention systems, EPP/EDR/MDR/XDR, code security analysis, WAF, SOAR, SIEM, GRC; Experience in Red/Blue/Purple Teams is a plus.
