Amazon Autos is reimagining the car shopping experience, from discovery to purchase. This role builds the operational foundation that supports sellers and partners as we scale from startup to Amazon‐scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Architect operational excellence by creating playbooks, processes, and systems for dealer recruitment, seller onboarding, and ongoing success.
- Engineer time‐saving automation and centralized processes, turning hours of manual work into minutes of strategic impact.
- Anticipate and eliminate friction before bottlenecks occur, identifying deal stalls and designing solutions that keep momentum.
- Translate complexity into clarity by building decision frameworks and operating models for fast‐moving, ambiguous environments.
- Lead transformational change, steering adoption initiatives with data‐driven rigor and customer‐obsessed empathy.
- Partner with senior leaders across the organization, bringing both strategic vision and execution excellence to every conversation.
A day in the life
Morning: Review dashboards and identify trends, such as contracting timelines, and conduct root‐cause analysis with Business Development.
Mid‐Morning: Present automated dealer recruitment scoring proposals to leadership, demonstrating potential time savings and conversion improvements.
Afternoon: Collaborate with Product and Engineering on a seller portal roadmap to centralize communications and reduce back‐and‐forth.
Late Afternoon: Review change‐management plans for tool rollouts, crafting communications and adoption resources.
End of Day: Update the operational transformation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives by impact and effort, and share detailed metrics with leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience developing and implementing systems/tools used for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, and Salesforce automation.
- Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools and BI tools.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Experience conducting sophisticated analysis of complex data and translating results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.

Location: USA, NY, New York – $147,300.00–$199,300.00 USD annually; USA, VA, Arlington – $133,900.00–$181,200.00 USD annually.
