Overview Join to apply for the Digital Twin Manager role at Pirelli. The candidate will work within the Manufacturing Intelligence department at Pirelli headquarters, developing and refining Digital Twin models, mainly related to factory flow simulation, with the aim of optimizing and planning various industrial situations through data management. What You’ll Do / Responsibilities Select and examine data that can be used to feed the digital model. Carry out feasibility studies related to factory flows with a view to innovating/streamlining tire manufacturing processes. Coordinate activities to create a proof of concept or mock-up to validate proposed solutions. Collaborate with suppliers, scientific and university institutions, and company departments (such as Industrial Engineering, Digital, Engineering) to correctly select Digital Twin models, define best scenario modeling, and gather requirements to be simulated with adopted tools. Collaborate with 3D design offices to create virtual simulation models. What We Are Looking For / Qualifications Master’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent, with proficiency in English; experience abroad is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and effective communication and synthesis abilities. Ability to focus on defined priorities, manage multiple projects, and work flexibly in complex organizational environments. Willingness to travel or relocate, including abroad, for short periods and training. Flexibility to work in complex organizational environments. What Puts You In Pole Position Knowledge of machine design with 5–7 years of experience, including installation of machinery in industrial environments and familiarity with the Machinery Directive. Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and basic pneumatics/hydraulics used in industrial plants. Proficiency in FEM simulation tools and additive manufacturing technologies (FDM, SLS, SLA, MJP) and related materials. Knowledge of robotics, related simulations, and 3D modeling tools for additive technologies and simulation environments.
