PpWe are currently seeking an bElectrical Design Engineer /b to join our dynamic team in bPiove di Sacco (PD), Italy! /b /p h3What kind of work will you be doing? /h3 ul liWork in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on thermal cooling units for data centers, focusing on high‑performance, cost‑effective design and market‑leading innovation. /li liDesign new products or re‑engineer existing ones with a focus on electrical design, collaborating with suppliers, procurement, and industrial engineering while being aware of necessary product marketing inputs. /li liSupport product production transfer from and to other locations, interfacing with the main center of expertise. /li liCreate and review product documentation (E‑CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material). /li liMeet objectives of cost, quality, environmental and time of execution, achieving the best trade‑off between market and internal customer needs. /li liAnalyze and resolve technical problems regarding products under your responsibility. /li liDemonstrate competence in international electrical regulations and standards (CE/UL). /li liCommunicate effectively across all regions to enhance global designs. /li /ul h3What will make you successful? /h3 ul liTechnical diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. /li liMinimum 3+ years of experience as an electrical designer, preferably in the HVAC industry. /li liStrong understanding of electrical design principles and practices. /li liExcellent knowledge of ECAD PLM systems and Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel). /li liKnowledge of active and passive filters for harmonics mitigation, power factor correction and similar. /li liGood knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles desirable but not essential. /li liEnglish – intermediate level – written and spoken. /li liResult‑oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible, and having a teamwork attitude. /li liStrong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills. /li liInitiative: works independently and is highly motivated to initiate and accept new challenges. /li liExcellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. /li liKnowledge of CE electrical standards EN60204-EN61439 and UL 508A regarding design and safety of on‑board electrical equipment. /li liKnowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) aspects of electrical equipment for proper operation and compliance with directives. /li liKnowledge of the most common BMS communication systems. /li /ul pAvailability to travel on request between the Italian HQ (base) and a production plant in Slovakia (10‑20%). /p pVertiv is an Equal Opportunity Employer. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
