Experteer Overview Join our Engineering team as a Hardware Developer to design, verify, and validate electronic hardware for railway safety‐critical systems. You will influence hardware architecture, select components, and drive reliable performance across the full product lifecycle. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to address environmental, EMC, and safety requirements in a high‐stakes domain. This role offers hands‐on impact in advancing secure, high‐quality railway technology at scale.
Retribuzione / Benefits Design and develop analog and digital boards for embedded railway systems
Define hardware architecture and select components
Create and review schematics, BOMs, and hardware documentation
Support PCB layout activities with layout engineers
Execute and support hardware verification and validation (functional, environmental, EMC)
Contribute to safety and reliability analyses per railway standards
Support industrialization, production issues, and field troubleshooting
Collaborate with Firmware, System Engineering, RAMS, V&V, Quality, and Industrial teams
Responsabilità Solid knowledge of analog and digital electronics
Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers
Knowledge of communication buses (CAN, SPI, I2C, MVB, Ethernet)
Knowledge of international regulations (EN50155, EN45545, EN50467, MIL-HDBK 217F, IEC62380, IEC61709)
Knowledge VHDL and C code; experience in PLD/FPGA (Altera-Lattice) programming
Experience in designing microprocessor boards
Familiarity with hardware design tools (Altium, OrCAD or equivalent)
Basic knowledge of railway or safety‐critical standards (EN 50126/50128/50129) is a plus
Ability to produce clear technical documentation
Good oral and written English, able to work in multidisciplinary and international teams
