Pramac, part of the third group in the world in the production of diesel and gas generators, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager – Data Center to join our Italian Team. Directly reporting to the General Manager of Italy, the ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating data center projects from inception to delivery, ensuring they are executed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong project management capabilities, technical knowledge of battery energy storage solutions and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions including R&D, Sales, Operations, and Customers.
Manage complex projects related to customized power solutions for data centers.
Serve as the primary point of contact between Pramac and customers during project execution.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional project teams (Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, etc.) to ensure successful project execution.
Develop Project Management Plans and monitor the progress.
Ensure technical compliance with data center requirements and international standards.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and technical specifications.
Support the Sales and Business Development teams with technical input and feasibility assessments for new data center opportunities.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency in project execution.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
Proven experience managing projects in the data center/power generation sectors or related field is highly preferred.
Proven track record of managing complex, customer-facing projects.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., MS Project, PMI standards).
Fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites or manufacturing plants.
