Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.


About the Role

* You will work closely with our management team to develop and execute sales plans that meet our business objectives.
* You will identify new business opportunities and negotiate with customers to secure new contracts.
* You will act as a key account manager for assigned international clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
* You will deliver offers and quotes to existing and prospective customers, ensuring timely and accurate communication.


Main Responsibilities

* Define sales strategies for various products and services to meet customer needs.
* Capture all necessary information for contract preparation, including technical specifications and customer requirements.
* Communicate effectively with our technical team to propose suitable solutions for customers.
* Solicit feedback from customers to improve our products and services.
* Negotiate terms of sale in collaboration with our management team.
* Manage and record customer rates, ensuring accurate financial records.
* Issue material samples and test requests to our laboratory for analysis.
* Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers through effective communication and trust-building.
* Monitor and control contract application and sales volumes with assigned customers.
* Identify and manage potential risks, including financial, delivery, and structural changes.
* Act as an interface between customers and our management team, sales, R&D, QHSE, and finance departments.


Your Profile

* You possess excellent knowledge and application of sales and negotiation techniques.
* You have a deep understanding of our technical capabilities and product advantages.
* You have a good grasp of the plastics industry and plastics processing, particularly injection molding.
* You can analyze market conditions and adjust your approach accordingly.
* You have strong decision-making skills and can mitigate potential problems with customers.
* You excel at interpersonal communication, both internally and externally, across different levels and departments.
* You have excellent time management and priority setting skills, with a self-driven attitude.
* You can effectively use MS Office and our ERP system.
* You are fluent in both Italian and English.
