This role acts as the interface between engineering, construction, and marine operations teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of deck-related works.brstrongRoles And Responsibilitiesbr/strongEngineering CoordinationbrulliCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering input (structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation) for topside deck modules or integrated decks. /liliReview and consolidate engineering deliverables such as general arrangement (GA) drawings, lifting studies, clash reports, and 3D models. /liliEnsure design compliance with client specifications, class requirements (e.g., ABS, DNV), and applicable codes and standards (API, ISO, ASME, etc.). /liliCoordinate deck load - out planning, including grillage and seafastening, temporary works, and lifting interfaces.br/li /ulInterface ManagementbrulliInterface with construction, lifting/marine, hook - up, and commissioning teams to ensure integration and sequencing of deck activities. /liliManage technical coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and fabrication Yards related to deck equipment and systems. /liliAlign deck design and installation strategy with marine operations and installation constraints (barge/lift vessel limits, lifting points, center of gravity, etc.).br/li /ulConstruction SupportbrulliReview constructability of deck modules including transport, lifting, and offshore installation. /liliSupport and monitor fabrication of deck structures at the Yard, resolving engineering queries (TQs, NCRs, etc.) in coordination with discipline engineers. /liliProvide support during load - out, transport, and lifting of deck structures offshore.br/li /ulPlanning DocumentationbrulliParticipate in development and tracking of deck - related schedules, milestones, and progress reporting. /liliPrepare and maintain technical coordination logs, MTOs, status reports, and engineering dossiers. /liliSupport preparation of installation procedures and as - built documentation for handover.br/li /ulstrongQualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:br/strongulliBachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Structural Engineering from an accredited university /liliWork experience of eight (8) years in the field of sought discipline after earning the BSc degree /liliExcellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports. /liliKnowledge of topside deck engineering design, fabrication, and installation. /liliFamiliarity with design tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks, STAAD Pro). /liliStrong interface and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams. /liliGood understanding of offshore lifting, marine operations, and construction sequencing. /liliAttention to detail, proactive problem - solving, and safety - conscious approach.br/li /ulHill International provides program, project, and construction management services for clients in a range of sectors undertaking major construction projects across the world.
