Who We Are
The Dallara Group's journey began in 1972, when Mr. Giampaolo Dallara, following valuable experiences at Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, and De Tomaso, founded "Dallara Automobili da Competizione" in Varano de' Melegari, a small town near Parma.
Today, the Dallara Group consists of over 900 Persone Dallara and stands as a leading force in the design, development, and production of high-performance racing cars. Dallara is the exclusive supplier for several championships, including IndyCar, IndyNXT, Formula 2, Formula 3, EuroFormula, Formula E, and Super Formula. Additionally, the company develops and manufactures vehicles competing in the WEC and IMSA championships and provides consultancy for other series, including NASCAR.
Since the early 2000s, the Dallara Group has offered specialized consulting and professional support to manufacturers and racing teams, assisting with the development of both racing and road cars.
On November 16, 2016, the Dallara Stradale was unveiled—the first road car bearing the Dallara name, embodying Mr. Dallara's dream and almost 50 years of innovation. Subsequently, the Dallara EXP, a track-only version of the Stradale, was developed, representing the pinnacle of sportsmanship with extreme performance and FIA safety standards.
In recent years, the Dallara Group has expanded into the aerospace sector, developing cutting-edge solutions.
