Innovation Company is looking for an IT Support responsible for several activities within our IT internal function.
- Design, implement and support documentation for networking and virtual computing infrastructures according to project requirements.
- Build, deploy, and manage all open‑source server management platform for enterprise virtualization in accordance with standards and operational requirements, including configuration of hardware, services, storage, and containers.
- Work closely with the Product Software Development, Technical Office and R&D; teams to design and deploy systems in line with the specific project requirements and IT strategy.
- Follow Change Management processes and be responsible for common infrastructure changes (Networking, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.), including the planning and implementation of updates.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure appropriate monitoring controls are in place, identify requirements and issues and propose proactive solutions.
- Oversee and design monitoring systems, including Zabbix and InfluxDB, to get insights and proactively resolve problems before service disruption.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system and software configuration and related performance issues.
- Automate the provisioning and maintenance of internal IT personal assets.
- Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Perform complete lifecycle management of compute hardware, including deployment, configuration, refresh, and decommissioning.
- Provide engineering support for compute infrastructure;
this will include monitoring and troubleshooting compute‑related problems.
- Extensively partner with business groups and vendors to consult on technical solutions that move the business forward.
Requisiti
- Experience in managing Linux operating systems.
- Practical experience with setup, configuration, operation and management of virtualized infrastructures, including VMs and hypervisor technologies (Proxmox, OpenStack, etc.) and container systems (e.G. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Good experience with network and services configuration (e.G. VLAN, DNS, routing, firewall, etc.) and in‑depth knowledge of networking principles.
- Good knowledge of PC and Dell server hardware (e.G. IDRAC).
- Root Analysis Methodology and Problem Solving Approach.
- Ability to move independently in the implementation of installation packages/scripts.
