ALTEN Italia - Calibration Engineer
ALTEN Italia, working with major companies in the AUTOMOTIVE sector, is looking for Calibration Engineers with different levels of experience ranging from 6 months to 3 years. The resource will be involved in the AUTOMOTIVE sector on various calibration projects including calibration on diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric/HVAC/ADAS/On-Board Diagnostic engines.
Responsibilities:
1. Calibration experimentation on test bench for diesel/petrol/CNG/hybrid/electric engines
2. Vehicle calibration
3. Defining combustion process (emissions, performance), safety and drivability
4. Diagnostic strategies / EOBD / Troubleshooting
5. Post-processing, after-treatment
6. Vehicle test programming
7. Dataset, analysis, and control of calibrations
8. Coordination of release activities
9. Preparation of comprehensive reports based on activities and technical documentation of tests conducted
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
* Experience in calibration of diesel/petrol/hybrid/electric engines
* Prior experience in engine experimentation and functional verification
* Diagnosing anomalies from bench tests, in-vehicle, or on track
* Good knowledge of engines, Aftertreatment systems, and ATS
* Knowledge of one or more of the following tools: ETAS INCA, ETAS MDA, AVL Puma, AVL Concerto, Dianalyzer, CANdela, GT-Power
* Nice to have: Matlab and Simulink
* Good command of the English language
