For Paul Wurth Italia spa, company of SMS Group we are looking for an Electrical, Instrumentation and Control (EIC) Engineer for a fixed term contract of 12 months
Responsibilities
* EIC prescriptions identification for specific projects (Inquiry, General Specification, Contractual Technical Specification, International and National Standard) for technical Offer and Project execution
* Electrical Basic Design and Plant Engineering activities (Load List and power balance, Single Line Diagrams, Protection definition, Transformer sizing, Emergency Load List and Generator sizing, Power Factor Compensation sizing, MCC Typicals, power cable sizing, electrical building definition, electrical equipment location, main cable routing definition and sizing, Earthing, Lightning, Lighting etc.).
* Project’s needs understanding and definition of the most suitable solution based on a cost/benefit analysis.
* Procurement Electrical equipment (MV Switchgear, power transformer, LV Switchgear and MCC, VFD and SS panels, DG set, UPS, Motor and accessories, etc.) and EIC Bulks equipment (cables, cable trays, conduits, accessories, earthing and lightning, lighting etc.), from purchase specifications preparation, technical alignment up to Order placement, follow-up for electrical equipment and engineering activities, Factory assessment Test.
Qualifications
* Technical degree or diploma on Electrical Engineering
* Good education, skills on electrical distribution design and calculation (starting from Medium Voltage) and plant engineering, International Standard (IEC, EN ..)
Required Skills
* Base skills on EIC discipline in general (P&ID and PFD diagrams, Instrumentation, Control systems, Risk Analysis and Safety documentation, Auxiliary and Communications systems)
* Attitude and social Skills (communications and interaction with internal structure, customer/consultant at all stages of the project) with problem solving approach.
* Attitude to Lesson Learning application and definition
* Attitude and Skills on multitasking and overbooking scenario
* English fluent in written and spoken
* Skills in office tools (excel calculation sheet in particular) and base skill on Autocad
* Attitude to learning and using professional company professional tools (AVEVA Engineering, SAP ..)
* Availability to travel at a client's office, Vendor workshop and office or at construction site
