* 8-10+ years of IT Project Management experience
* A PMP is a plus but not required

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in the company’s IT department, which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. Some of an IT Project Manager’s day-to-day duties include:
Essential Functions:
- Lead others through business change and implementation plans. Drives teams to consensus and completion.
- Interprets business needs and defines realistic goals and objectives.
- Scopes projects to align with goals and objectives and deliver incremental value.
- Holds individuals accountable for project deliverables.
- Proactively anticipate and manage risk.
- Determines the most appropriate project lifecycle to follow based on project
Responsibilities
* Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
* Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
* Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
* Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
* Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals
* Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
* Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
