General Description:
Under the supervision of the Director of Commercial Operations Italy, this role is responsible for maximizing the performance of BeOne Medicines' oncology products in Italy, managing a team of Key Account Managers.
The Associate Director Regional Field Manager (RFM) implements marketing and sales strategies and is accountable for achieving sales targets supported by allocated resources and budgets. The RFM also coaches and develops her/his commercial team.
Essential Functions:
* Builds brand awareness for BeOne Medicines and its oncology products.
* Establishes strong relationships with key opinion leaders, study groups, and key accounts.
* Prepares the market for product approval.
* Implements marketing strategies for upcoming launches.
* Builds and structures a competent commercial field team in Italy.
* Achieves regional sales goals and performance metrics.
* Plans and monitors regional and cluster budgets.
* Sets sales goals and analyzes market data.
* Identifies developmental needs of team members and provides tailored training and coaching.
* Provides scientific advice and support to KOLs in hospitals.
* Leads cross-functional field teams.
* Monitors market changes and competitor activities.
* Supervises key account plans.
* Collaborates with Market Access to facilitate account access.
* Works with Marketing to optimize field force effectiveness.
* Aligns commercialization strategies with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access departments.
* Participates in scientific meetings and workshops.
* Provides leadership fostering high performance, engagement, and alignment with company values.
* Attracts, develops, and retains talent; promotes effective communication and teamwork.
* Builds strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Centers patient care in business decisions.
* Ensures team compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
* Scientific education and experience in similar roles; life science degree preferred.
* Over 5 years of leadership in a commercial environment, particularly in oncology.
* Proven success in fast-growing, entrepreneurial settings.
* Deep knowledge of the oncology market, especially lung and gastric cancers.
* Strong network with oncologists and opinion leaders.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
* Fluent in English; computer literacy (MS Office).
* Valid driver’s license.
Education: University degree in science or business; minimum 10 years industry experience.
Supervisory responsibilities include managing a local/regional sales team, hiring, and development.
Travel: Approximately 60% of the time.
