Minimum Requirements

* Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience and at least 3 years in a leadership role as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a multinational context.
* Preferably experience in Retail Mass Market or Operational, Logistics, and Supply Chain sectors.
* Proven record of developing people and organizations.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
* Passionate about business and people, with a strong belief in individuals’ potential.
* Good knowledge of workers' and employers' rights and obligations, and how to mediate relationships between workers, employing entities, trade unions, and the government.
* Ability to implement long-term plans according to set budgets and goals.
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and responsibility, while also being a team player who can influence and inspire.
* Demonstrated ability to use different leadership styles suited to various situations.
* Knowledge of performance management and development against organizational and individual goals.
* Ability to manage partnership models responsibly to build trustful relationships.
* Knowledge of identifying, assessing, encouraging, and ensuring co-worker performance.
* Ability to anticipate, identify, and develop potential successors for key positions.
* Good knowledge of Italian and English languages.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

You will act as a business partner and contributor to the Unit Management Team, leading the People and Culture team to ensure local implementation of People strategies.

Your responsibilities include:

* Act as a P&C business partner to the Market Manager on all People topics.
* Lead and develop the unit P&C team to provide an excellent co-worker experience.
* Ensure local implementation of the people strategy, global principles, and relevant business plans.
* Influence the unit management team to develop local leadership capabilities.
* Support building local business competence and performance through relevant goals.
* Ensure delivery of learning and training at the unit level.
* Manage local employer communication to strengthen the IKEA brand.
* Secure an up-to-date succession plan, focusing on developing talents and high potentials.
* Implement co-worker relations plans, managing local interactions and ensuring adherence to labor relations principles and laws.
* Coordinate with the Business Navigation Manager on budget hours distribution for effective people planning.
