About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Educational background: Civil Engineer, Public Works Technical Engineer (ITOP), or similar degree with a specialization in structures.
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in design, construction, or supervision of structures on site, preferably in railway infrastructure projects. Experience in high-speed railway infrastructure is a plus.
* Languages: Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
* Technical Skills: Knowledge of structural construction procedures, on-site resolution of structural conflicts, structural design and analysis, compliance with Eurocodes, coordination, and planning.
Responsibilities
As a Junior Structural Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in supervising and providing technical support to ensure structures are built according to design during construction.
* Collaborating with the design team to resolve construction issues.
* Reviewing shop drawings and technical specifications provided by contractors.
* Maintaining communication with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
* Preparing periodic progress reports and communicating any deviations from plans.
