Innovation and Project Execution Lead - Fix Term Contract
About the role
The Innovation and Execution Lead, within the Aprilia Site Innovation and Technical organization, oversees assigned projects, such as New Product Introduction, Products Maintenance and Technology Transfer or other project types strategic for the Site, via the application of robust, standardized and effective project management methods aligned with global standards/SOPs, having overall responsibility for projects governance, tracking and successful delivery.
Key responsibilities
* Provides leadership of projects and establishes key partnerships across Operations, Technical, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Engineering on site, as well as with R&D and above site stakeholders.
* Responsible for the introduction of new products from R&D, Line Extensions, Geo expansion, product introductions. Key focus on project & risk management, technical due diligence and embedding quality and capability to ensure robust, cost-effective manufacturing processes are developed and implemented.
* Manages the assessment of opportunities from business and technical aspects to confirm feasibility and move into execution, completing site impact assessments (SIA) with inputs from all required site functions for potential opportunities summarizing site capability, products costing, investments and one‑off costs and timing.
* In coordination with Site Technical and other functions, ensures that products developed meet standards required in terms of quality and process capability as defined in the design specification established with the commercial and R&D teams and by using appropriate business acceptance criteria.
* Provides resource management/oversight to Project Managers for the planning and execution of project types (e.g. NPI, VE/PPV, line extension, complex site projects).
* Development of project plans, securing appropriate resources, monitoring adherence to plans and developing contingency plans for low‑complexity projects. Ensures that risk mitigation plans are in place and agreed with the Site/Regional Quality Councils.
* Establishes and supports the project team, ensuring robust communication occurs from the team to the Leadership Team and to the wider organisation as appropriate.
* Ensures proper escalation and communication of risks is in place and occurring at the right level of the organisation.
Qualifications and skills
* Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum three years’ experience in a pharmaceutical or consumer health company in GMP regulated process, manufacturing and packaging, with experience in product introduction, project management or R&D product development.
* Project Management with demonstrated ability to deliver fully compliant projects (certification preferred).
* Positive attitude, driven, persistent, and results oriented.
* Excellent relationship, conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
* Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Preferred Qualifications
* PMP certification or comparable preferred
