Data Center Services Procurement (DCSP) supports Data Center Capacity Delivery in obtaining the best services at the lowest costs, and manages the full “Supplier Lifecycle” including Strategic Sourcing and Intake, Onboarding, Solicitations, Spending and Transaction Policy (S&TP;) Compliance, Contract management, Supplier Development, and portions of requisitioning and payment operations. Key job responsibilities
Independently and cross-functionally deliver on projects/goals. Manage assigned supplier on-boarding and qualification processes. Manage assigned tender events, and related follow-on contract generation supporting the Procurement Category Manager. Manage post contract metrics and audit process for work awarded. Identify dashboard requirements for metrics reporting and identify opportunities for process improvement and develop training documentation. Monitor and manage purchase requisition process using information provided by business owners and suppliers.
A day in the life DCSP's Procurement Ops is a highly collaborative team that is focused on streamlining and managing procurement operations for AWS Data Center construction. We are part of the larger APJC DCSP team and bring diverse perspectives, but remain Customer Obsessed. Our team of professionals manage operations for the full procurement lifecycle and provide valued input on the process and improvement opportunities. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or other related fields. 3+ years of supply chain management, production planning, capacity planning or manufacturing operations experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, and highly proficient in MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field. Experience as procurement/purchasing analyst, or other operational role within a procurement organization. Knowledge of software tools used in procurement, demonstrated success in a metrics-oriented environment and an ability to create, track, analyze and report out on metrics. xpavfwm
