Asset Manager – Photovoltaic Sector
to join its dynamic Asset Management team, overseeing PV plants and project companies (SPVs) across Europe. We welcome applications from Economics or Engineering graduates, as well as proactive candidates with at least three years of Asset Management experience in the renewable energy sector.
Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, the Asset Manager will be responsible for managing renewable photovoltaic plants in Italy, focusing on technical, commercial, and financial performance. The role involves daily coordination with Italian and English-speaking partners and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate management of assigned PV portfolios alongside other team asset managers.
* Oversee daily operations of SPVs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, project agreements, and permissions.
* Manage day-to-day operations of the Asset Management organization to achieve high performance standards.
* Monitor PV plants’ performance and coordinate technical interventions to maximize production and profitability.
* Handle insurance claims on behalf of project companies.
* Optimize revenue streams by managing sales, PPAs, and GO certificates.
* Control project revenues and costs, analyze deviations, and identify improvement opportunities.
* Supervise assessment, preparation, and payment of invoices, loans, and surface right fees.
* Ensure compliance with contract covenants to uphold legal and financial commitments.
* Prepare and issue reports as required under project or loan agreements and other ad-hoc reports for decision-making.
* Coordinate with financing banks and business partners.
* Prepare budgets, financial reports, and liquidity forecasts.
Essential Requirements:
* Degree in Economics or Engineering.
* Fluent in Italian and English.
* Proficient in Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* At least 3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector in Italy.
The contractual terms will be aligned with the candidate’s experience, with an aim for long-term placement within the company.
