The opportunity
For our Business Unit Transformers based in Monselice (PD) we are looking for candidates who will be responsible Mechanical Design of power transformers by following customer’s specifications, internati-onal IEC rules and internal standards.
How you'll make an impact
1. 3D design of electrical transformer's mechanical external part, including drawings and calculations ac-cording to specification. Contribute to design reviews and design verification;
2. Identify variation requests to support contract changes;
3. Follow work plans and cost estimates for work in own area of responsibility and ensure quality deli-verables on time and at targeted cost;
4. Complete risk and opportunity assessments and the implementation of resulting actions in area of re-sponsibility. Report any contract / quality / program / cost issues to management for resolution;
5. Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of design assignments; Collaborate with the supply chain function, review vendor documentation, provide design related evaluation of proposals for standard materials and equipment;
6. Assist in communication with customer pertaining to specific project design assignments or meetings;
7. Create specifications for purchase and manufacturing, interface with customers, suppliers and producti-on dept;
8. Use internal standard rules, processes and tools;

Your background
10. Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma (electrical/mechanical);
11. 2/3 years of experience in mechanical / electromechanical design;
12. Experience in transformers field is a plus;
13. Good knowledge of CAD 2D/3D;
14. PTC Creo Parametric, SAP knowledge is a plus;
15. Good knowledge of English and Italian;
16. Availability for short, occasional trips to customers/suppliers.
