Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (ComOps Applications Engineer). In this role, you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications. The Applications Engineer is responsible for preparing a variety of quotations for the Flowserve Pump Division Customer Portfolio. Main tasks include quotation preparation, specification review, price development, and analysis of terms and conditions. Coordination and interaction with internal teams (engineering, sales, supply chain) and external stakeholders (subsuppliers, customers) are key factors.
You will report to the ComOps Manager or Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
* Support and proactively maintain high-level interactions with the sales team, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure the best customer experience.
* Evaluate requests and generate solution proposals.
* Conduct cost calculations in cooperation with relevant departments when necessary.
* Prepare technical and commercial offers.
* Monitor and manage the entire offer cycle, including technical alignment, price revision, and CRM management.
* Manage risk assessment to reduce technical and financial risks.
* Review order acceptance and facilitate clean handover to the Order Fulfillment team.
Requirements:
* BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
* Strong technical acumen and analytical thinking.
* Ability to work effectively in a team.
* Experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role, such as inside Sales Representative or Proposal Engineer.
* Fluent English; additional language skills are a plus.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Limited availability to travel abroad.
