The Role
Join our leading fintech company as a developer, in the backend product development team, contributing to the core systems that power our platform. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable backend solutions, ensuring code quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, driving the evolution of our platform to meet the demands of a rapidly growing user base and high-stakes financial operations. We’re looking for someone with experience in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, along with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
11. Write, test, and maintain code for high-performance and scalable systems.
12. Continuously improve system performance to handle a high volume of concurrent requests.
13. Implement advanced security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure the system meets industry security standards.
14. Ensure all processes and implementations comply with relevant local and international regulations requirements.
15. Work closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define technical and functional requirements.
16. Identify and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges promptly.
17. Collaborate on integrating payment systems, product platform and external systems.
18. Contribute to all stages of the agile development cycle, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
19. Identify opportunities to improve development processes and methodologies within the team.
20. Create and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions.
We're looking for someone who must have
21. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with solid experience
22. Proficiency in Java programming.
23. Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)
24. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
25. Experience with Spring technologies, particularly Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security, for building robust and scalable applications.
26. Knowledge of API development and integration, including RESTful services and microservices architecture.
27. Solid understanding of software security principles and best practices
28. Experience working on high-performance, scalable, and secure applications.
29. Experience working in an agile environment, including familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (, Git), and automated testing.
30. Experience with handling large volumes of concurrent transactions or requests.
31. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
32. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with good communication skills.
33. Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and approaches as needed.
34. Expertise in building and managing distributed systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
35. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
It would be nice if you have
36. Relevant certifications in cloud computing (AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, etc.), cybersecurity, or agile methodologies can be an advantage.
